"Your breath is scaring me"

The other night I was tucking Summer into bed. After reading, we snuggled and I started to sing to her, when the following conversation occurred:

Summer: "Mommy, stop singing!"

Mommy: "Why?"

Summer: "Because your breath is scaring me away."

Mommy (laughing): "Why?"

Summer: "Because it stinks!"

Mommy (a little embarrassed): "It does? Does it smell like poo?"

Summer: "No, it smells like dinner."

Hey Shurelle! I found your blog on Amy McCormacks. It's good to see you and your cute family. Congrats on turning thirty! My b-day is coming up and I'm not too excited. That's hilarious what your daughter said to you. Kids say the funniest things.
